Meet Your Therapist
Gene Hyatt
I believe meaningful change begins with a strong, authentic therapeutic relationship. At the heart of my work is creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely connected. I value trust, transparency, and collaboration, and I approach each relationship with deep respect for the unique experiences and strengths every person brings.
Outside of my professional life, I feel most grounded in nature—especially while backpacking in the mountains whenever I can. It offers perspective, balance, and renewal, which I carry with me into my work with clients.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients navigate a world that can often feel overwhelming or disconnected. I integrate existential and humanistic perspectives to prioritize genuine connection and grounding in each session, supporting clients as they build practical skills for meaningful change.
I look forward to working with new clients and supporting them as they grow and redefine themselves. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where your voice, insight, and lived experience are essential. Together, we work toward lasting, meaningful change.
